Privacy Policy for MEA (Motion Energy Analysis)

MEA5 Basic is a macOS desktop application developed by Fabian Ramseyer.
This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles data.
1. Data Collection
MEA5 Basic does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
The app does not:
- Require user accounts
- Collect analytics data
- Use tracking technologies
- Send data to external servers
- Use third-party advertising services
2. Local Processing
All video analysis and data processing performed by MEA5 Basic occurs locally on the user’s device.
Video files opened in the application remain on the user’s computer and are not uploaded, transmitted, or shared.
Any output files generated by the application are saved locally by the user.
3. Camera and File Access
If the user grants permission, the application may access:
- Local video files selected by the user
- The device camera (if camera features are enabled)
These permissions are used solely to provide the requested functionality.
No media data is transmitted externally.
4. Data Storage
The application does not maintain remote databases or cloud storage.
Any data created or processed by MEA5 Basic remains under the control of the user on their local device.
5. Third-Party Services
MEA5 Basic does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising networks, or cloud processing services.
