Help understanding MEA output

Hello,

I would appreciate your assistance with the MEA software, which I have recently started using.

My goal is to generate output for a dyad with two ROIs (one for the therapist and one for the patient). The video file is 3 minutes long.

Could you please clarify how many lines of output I should expect? Based on my understanding, the calculation should be: 3 minutes * 60 seconds * Sampling Rate. Since the software indicates a frame rate of 25 fps, I expect around 4,500 lines. However, currently, the output file contains only about 300 lines.

Could this be related to the video resolution? Do I need to downscale the video to a lower resolution (e.g., 640×480) to ensure the software processes the entire file?

–> Yes, this is correct: Should be 4.5k lines.

I suggest to downscale the video to e.g. 960×540 (for HD) or 640×480 (for 4:3 resolution).

AND: Use a common codec such as h264
