Hi,
I’ve recently started using MEA and would appreciate some help understanding the R script parameters.
Regarding the sampRate parameter: My understanding is that this should match the frame rate of the analyzed video files (in my case, 25 FPS). Is this correct?
However, I noticed that some papers mention running MEA analysis at 10 FPS(Paulick et al., 2018; Ramseyer & Tschacher, 2011). I’m wondering if this is usually done by downsampling the output from a higher frame rate (e.g., 25 to 10) within the analysis, or if it implies the source videos were originally recorded at 10 FPS?
Thanks in advance for any insights!
