Hello Dr. Ramseyer,
I am using MEA 5 on Mac, on both Sequoia and Sonoma OS versions, and the program will not process videos past approximately the 100,000 ms mark. I am wondering if this is a known issue, a limitation of the basic version, or perhaps related to older Mac chips (M3).
I have tried running basic 5-minute recordings through the software, but the output consistently ends at around 80,000 ms (±20,000 ms each time). I have also run your test videos through MEA 5.3 (only the first 8 minutes or so), and the same issue persisted, with the output only covering the first 100,000 ms or so. In all trials, two ROIs were defined.
The manuals appear to be for MEA 4, and I am unsure whether slight changes in the functionality of the new version, the OS, or the M3 chips in our Apple computers could be causing this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Much love to the MEA team — thank you for making such a user-friendly program.
